Late abstract submission for short oral or for poster presentations open from 2 April 2024.
If you missed the initial abstract deadline, take the opportunity to showcase your latest research at EUROCORR 2024 by submitting your late abstract before 25 May 2024. It is your chance to gain visibility for your work and strengthen your network !
Late abstract submission deadline: 25 May 2024 or when the short oral and poster capacities are reached.
For EUROCORR2024, three presentation-options can be selected during abstract submission:
- Lecture (20 min): Regular oral presentation (15 min talk plus 5 min for Q&A).
- Poster: “Classical” poster presentation.
- Short Lecture (5 min)NEW: Short oral presentation (3 min talk with a maximum of 4 slides incl. title slide plus 2 min for Q&A).
Please submit your abstract as PDF-file (max. 1 page and 1 MB file size, use the Template) via the Converia submission website. The abstract should explicitly mention objectives, results and conclusions and/or significance of the work. Accepted abstracts will be made available for all conference participants as a digital Book of Abstracts (PDF-files). Shortly after the conference, we will also provide the participants a digital book of the presentations made available by the authors. Technical details for the process will be given in due time.
The selection of the contributions will be based on the review of the abstracts by the International Scientific Committee. And please note that prizes will be awarded for the best poster presentation of early-career researchers (EFC Poster Prize, Nuclear Corrosion Poster Prize)!
Important: The conference registration fee cannot be waived for authors!
The abstracts (and papers) need to be submitted via the Converia conference management system. In case you have submitted an abstract at one of the previous two EUROCORRs you already should have a user account, if not we kindly ask you to create a new user account on the Converia platform.
